    The Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team, fresh off its eighth consecutive Landmark Conference Championship, have earned the No. 30 ranking in the nation according to the swimswam.com’s aggregate team ranking system.
  • Joann Butkus Named Senior Scholar Athlete

    Joann Butkus capped her swimming career at Susquehanna University with one of the highest awards available by earning the Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete Award as announced by the conference office Thursday.
  • Two Individuals and Five Relays Named First-Team All-Landmark

    Katie Willis, who won a pair of events, and Maggie Palaski, who won the 100-yard butterfly, were joined by all five relays from the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team as First-Team selections to the Landmark Conference All-Conference team as announced by the conference office following the 2018 Championships.
  • Jerry Foley and Staff Named Top Women’s Coaches

    Susquehanna University Head Coach Jerry Foley, along with his staff, were named the 2018 Landmark Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Coaching Staff of the Year. The award was announced and presented at the Landmark Championships in Maryland.
  • Women’s Swimming and Diving Named Scholar All-American

    The Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team has been recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for its academic success by being named one of the Scholar All-American teams based on the Fall 2017 grade report.
  • Women Win Eighth Consecutive Landmark Championship

    The Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team has done it again as the River Hawks capped yet another successful Landmark Championship with an eighth consecutive team title. Susquehanna capped the championships with another record-breaking day as the team placed either first or second in five of the six races Sunday afternoon in Germantown, Maryland.

    The 800-yard freestyle relay featuring Jess Jozefiak, Caitlin Kelly, Megan Shaffer and Tori Weems capped the second day of competition at the Landmark Conference Championship with a meet record and school record and a winning time of 7:52.89 to lead the Susquehanna University Women;s Swimming and Diving team.
  • Katie Willis Opens Landmark Championships with a Bang

    Junior Katie Willis broke the 50-yard freestyle record three times in the same day and finished with a first-place finish, a meet record and an NCAA B-Cut time leading the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team on the first day of competition at the Landmark Conference Championship meet Friday in Germantown, Maryland.

    Junior Katie Willis started the second semester of competition in grand fashion with a record-breaking night in the first meet of the second semester as the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team took on Bloomsburg University in the James Garrett Sports Complex pool.

    Freshman Abby Condon and sophomore Erin Wetmore won two individual events each to lead the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team to a 161-93 victory over Goucher College Satruday afternoon at Goucher.

    Senior Joann Butkus won two individual events and also helped with a pair of relay wins Sunday as the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team returned to competition for the second half of the season. Her efforts in the pool were recognized by the Landmark Conference as she was named the Female Swimmer of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday.

    Senior Joann Butkus won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke events and also helped two relays to victories for the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team Sunday as the River Hawks upended Franklin & Marshall 159-103 in a non-conference meet in the James Garrett Center Pool in Selinsgrove.

  • Katie Willis Earns Top Conference Swimmer for the Week

    Junior Katie Willis clocked a time of less than two minutes in the 200-yard freestyle and also posted a sub-25 second time in the 50-yard freestyle at the Tri-Meet with Gettysburg and Messiah last weekend and has been honored as the top female swimmer from the Landmark Conference by CollegeSwimming.com.

    Veterans Joann Butkus, Caitlin Kelly and Katie Willis were part of three winning relays Friday night for the Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team as the River Hawks opened the season with the Fourth Annual Ged Scheweikert Relays in the Garrett Center Natatorium in Selinsgrove.

    The Susquehanna University Women’s Swimming and Diving team won its seventh consecutive Landmark Conference championship to end the 2016-17 season and will start the season ranked ninth in the Northeast South Region according to the first poll of the season released by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
