An Impressive Debut
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University freshman Tara McHugh has been named the 2000 Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the Year in women's tennis after tying the school record for wins in a season and advancing to the Middle Atlantic Conference singles quarterfinals. McHugh was also named to the six-player Commonwealth Conference All-Star team in voting conducted by the conference's head coaches.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Susquehanna University women’s tennis team will have to overcome the loss of its top two players from 1999 in order to improve upon last season’s 4-7 overall record, but seventh-year head coach Bob Jordan will look to a solid group of sophomores and an impressive freshman to push the team toward the top of the Commonwealth Conference standings.
