Women’s Tennis Ends Fall Season on High Note

QUICK HIT: The Susquehanna women's tennis team ended its fall season on a high note as they defeated Penn St.-Harrisburg at 6-3 on Friday evening.

RECORD: The River Hawks finished the fall season with a 4-2 record.

2-1 AFTER DOUBLES: Eliza Griffin and Cassey Fox defeated their opponents 8-4 at number two doubles while Julia Spear and Amy Jennings won 8-3 at number three doubles. Alyssa Fleischman and Megan Rudloff dropped their match 8-3 at number one doubles.

SINGLES COMPETITION: Griffin won 7-5, 6-3 at number three singles while Spear and Fox won at numbers four (6-4, 6-2) and five (6-1, 6-0) singles, respectively. Jennings defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-4 at number six singles.

PSU HARRISBURG SINGLES: Alicia Hite defeated Rudloff at number one singles 6-0, 6-2 while Sydney Nye defeated Fleischman 6-4, 6-1 at number two singles.
