HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's track & field earned a third-place finish at the 2016 Landmark Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships which concluded on Sunday.

Moravian won the team title with 271 points. Elizabethtown was third (177.50), followed by SU (125.50).
In the first track event of the day, Amy Kaschak earned eight points in the steeplechase by placing second with a time of 11:41.55. Emily Leboffe took eighth (13:14.63) in her first collegiate steeplechase race.

Later in the day, Megan Wright took home seventh in the 5000m run with her time of 19:45.79.

In the sprints, Jasmine Mitchell captured fourth in the 100m dash finals with her time of 12.72. Later in the day, she took fifth in the 200m dash finals (26.46).

Hannah Perkins
ran to a fifth-place finish in the 400m dash after crossing the finish in 1:01.51 and senior Ashley West won the 800m run for the fourth year in a row with her time of 2:12.63. Kailyn Reilly was fifth (2:22.29) while Hannah Stauffer placed seventh (2:22.81 – a PR).

In the 100m hurdle finals, Michelle Turnbach earned fourth overall with a time of 16.21, a career-best time for the sophomore. Camilla De Araujo earned third in the 400m hurdle finals, posting a career-best time of 1:10.28 with Megan Grady in fifth (1:10.60 – also a PR).

SU's 4 x 100 relay team of Jadzia Erskine, Carlye McQueen, Mitchell and Manouchka Paulemont placed third after posting a time of 50.70. In the final track event of the competition, the 4 x 400 team of Stauffer, Perkins, DeAraujo and West earned a third-place finish with a time of 4:09.12.

Gabby Alguire won the javelin for the third year in a row with her championship meet record throw of 45.43m. In the shot put, Renea Broscious took eighth (10.24m).

Paulemont led SU in the triple jump with a fourth-place jump of 10.34m which marked a career-best for the senior. In the high jump, Sarah Rinaldi was fifth (1.52m) and Hayley Painter captured seventh (1.52m).
