Volleyball Remains Sixth in Region

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Susquehanna women's volleyball team remains sixth in the most recent NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region poll. Updated NCAA Division III regional polls were released Thursday.

Ninth-ranked Juniata – a fellow Landmark Conference member– tops the region with its 25-2 record. The Eagles are followed by No. 18 Eastern (25-4), No. 20 Stevenson (32-1), Salisbury (24-4) and Franklin & Marshall (21-4). SU has faced every one of those teams with the exception of Salisbury and took Franklin & Marshall to four sets.

The Crusaders are 26-8 on the season, won 12 of its first 13 matches and went a perfect 10-0 at home this season. They have clinched the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Landmark Conference Tournament after going 4-1 in conference play. Juniata, the No. 1 seed in the tournament, and Susquehanna are the only Landmark Conference teams to earn a spot in the regional polls.

Susquehanna concludes its regular season this Saturday with two matches at the PSU-Harrisburg Tri-Match.
