SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna men's cross country runner John Crowe (Boalsburg, Pa. / State College Area) and volleyball player Sarah Paluck (Nesquehoning, Pa. / Tamaqua Area) have been named SAAC/Pepsi Super Crusaders for the week ending September 13.
Crowe finished second out of 165 runners in the Misericordia Cougar Classic. He finished the hilly 8KM in 26:40.42, just 14 seconds off the first place runner.
Paluck appeared in all five of SU's volleyball matches this past week. She totaled at least 16 digs in each match with a week high 35 against Covenant College. She also tallied 11 assists as the Crusaders went 3-2, including a loss to No. Emory at Emory's tournament. In the match against Emory, Paluck became Susquehanna's all-time leader in digs with 2,110 (previous record was 2,103).
The men and women's cross country teams will host the Ashley Shell Tomlinson Memorial Run on Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. The volleyball team returns to action on Friday and Saturday, September 18-19, when SU hosts the Hampton Inn Crusader Classic.
