SU Volleyball Received Votes in AVCA Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Susquehanna volleyball team received votes in the most recent American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Poll released Oct. 27.

Susquehanna received six points, four more points than last week's poll. This is the second time this season that SU has received votes. The Crusaders are 22-9 overall and with their 6-1 Landmark Conference record, have clinched the No. 2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament and will host No. 3 seed Scranton on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.

Landmark Conference rival Juniata is currently ranked first in the national poll with a 27-1 record and an undefeated mark (7-0) in conference action.

SU is coming off of back-to-back 3-0 wins and has won eight of its last 10 matches, its two losses coming to No. 17 Clarkson and No. 13 Eastern. Susquehanna returns to action on Friday, Oct. 30 when the team hosts Cortland State at 6:00 p.m.
