TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna volleyball player Sarah Paluck earned her second Specialist of the Year nod while five Crusaders made All-Landmark teams, as announced on Tuesday.
Sarah Paluck and Erin Byrne were named to the 2015 All-Landmark First-Team for the third consecutive year with Paluck also receiving Specialist of the Year recognition in back-to-back seasons.
This season, Paluck broke both the Susquehanna and Landmark Conference career digs records with 2,556. She ended the season with 653 digs and 5.04 digs per set. She is ranked first in the Landmark Conference in digs and second in digs per set.
Byrne finished the season with 348 kills, 3.52 kills per set, 410.5 points and 4.1 points per set. She also totaled 49 blocks, 274 digs and 43 service aces. She is ranked first in the conference in kills per set and points per set.
Whiteman tallied 273 kills, 25 service aces, 184 digs, 27 blocks, 314.5 points and 3.7 points per set. She is ranked second in the Landmark with kills per set and points per set.
O'Hearn made 1,179 assists this season, first in the conference, to average 9.74 assists per set, second in the conference. She totaled 112 kills, 29 service aces, 314 digs and 31 total blocks.
Sherkness had a Landmark Conference high of 387 kills with 106 digs, 19 service aces and 29 total blocks.
The Crusaders finished the season 26-10 with a 6-1 mark in conference action, including a second place finish in the Landmark Conference Championship.
