THE MAIN STORY: The Susquehanna women's volleyball team picked up its 20th win of the season with a 3-0 victory over visiting Penn State Harrisburg on Tuesday afternoon.

TEAM RECORDS: SU is now 20-5 overall with seven wins in its last eight matches. The Lions fall to 6-12 overall.

SET SCORES: The River Hawks won 25-18, 25-22, 25-12.

PLAYER STATS: Sixteen players took the court for Susquehanna. Morgan Lowe led the team with 10 kills while adding six digs and four service aces. Erin Byrne tallied eight kills and Maggie O'Hearn added 19 assists and six digs.

Caroline Beohm finished with 21 digs and the River Hawks tallied 12 blocks from eight different players.

THE OPENING SET: The River Hawks led by six, 9-3, in the early going. The Lions, however, never trailed by more than seven at any point and pulled within two (20-18) late in the action before Susquehanna scored five unanswered points to put the set away.

SET TWO: The River Hawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead and maintained a 15-10 edge midway through the action. Penn State closed the gap to two points (23-21) late in the set before kills from Veronica Kirchner and Hannah Lyons gave SU the win.

THIRD AND FINAL SET: The third set could not have started out much better with Susquehanna jumping out to a 12-0 lead. The Lions got no closer than nine points over the remainder of the action, ultimately falling 25-12.

PRE-GAME CEREMONY: Prior to the start of the game, Susquehanna honored head coach Kuuipo Tom, who earned his 300th career victory on Oct. 8. Tom is the winningest coach in program history.

UP NEXT: Susquehanna takes to the road to face Penn State Altoona on Oct. 14 at 8 p.m.
