Women’s Cross Country Competes at Kutztown

THE QUICK HIT: The Susquehanna women's cross country team competed at the Kutztown DII/DIII Challenge on Saturday morning.

RESULTS: SU placed 7th out of a combined 20 DII and DIII teams.

DID YOU KNOW? The River Hawks defeated four regionally-ranked DII squads.

TOP FINISHER: Amy Kaschak was again first across the finish line for SU with her time of 23:33.0 She placed 17th overall out of 244 runners.

OTHER NOTABLE TIMES: Kailyn Reilly's time of 24:09.2 placed her 31st and she was followed by Megan Wright (24:19.9).  

Rachel Daley posted a time of 25:46.7 and was followed by Emily Leboffe (26:08.3) and Seema Tailor (26:23.7). Kirsten Hatton crossed the finish in 27:46.9).

FOR THE FIRST TIME: Erin Reese, Emily Eck, Jill Batten and Katherine Meyer all ran their first collegiate 6k races. Reese was fourth overall for SU with her time of 24:38.4 and was followed by Eck (27:11.5), Batten (27:27.8) and Meyer (27:55.1).
