Women’s Cross Country Competes at Regional Meet

QUICK HIT: The Susquehanna women's cross country team took 16th overall at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet, hosted by DeSales University, in the team's final race of the season.

TEAM STANDINGS: Johns Hopkins won the team title with 38, 82 points ahead of Dickinson. SU took 16th with 454 points.

SU'S TOP FINISHER: Amy Kaschak placed 30th overall with a 6k time of 22:47. It marked a one-second PR for the senior.

ALL-REGION RUNNER: With Kaschak's 30th-place finish, she earned All-Region recognition. All-Region honors are awarded to top-35 finishers.

OTHER SU RUNNERS: Hannah Stauffer was next across the finish, posting a time of 23:52. She was followed by Seema Tailor (24:13), Rachel Daley (24:36), Megan Wright (24:44), Kailyn Reilly (24:45) and Erin Reese (24:53).

PERSONAL BESTS: In addition to Kaschak's PR, Tailor also set a career-best time.
